Player Profile: Than Le

Thanh Le is a Junior on the Track and Field team here at Taylorsville. During the fall he also runs on the cross country team. This will be his second year on the track and field team. Le is a distance runner. At meets he runs the 800 meter and the mile.
Track and field is a multi event sport with varying distances from the 100 meter to the 1600 meter (mile). If you don’t like running, you can also join their field events. You can do shot put, high jump, pole vault, and much more.
His his favorite part of the track team is running with his close friends who help motivate him to keep running, and trying his best.
Le is close to his teammates and the coaches saying that they are all his ‘bros’.
He especially looks up to Senior, Brandon Rico, describing him as a responsible exemplar in his life.
Le balances different AP classes, hobbies, a social life, and track and much more.
He is described by friends as funny, snarky, and intelligent.
He practices almost everyday after school for about two hours. They stretch, and do exercises to help with running technique. The track team also works on endurance, running around the surrounding area.
Le is known for researching ridiculous current events to discuss during his AP classes with Harward.
In his spare time Le enjoys martial arts such as Tang soo do also known as Tae Kwon Do. Tae kwon do is a Korean martial arts which incorporates northern China and Subak techniques.
He also likes to browse the internet for funny or interesting things. Le enjoys watching different animes, and Kdramas (Korean dramas)
He volunteers with the Key Club doing service all around the community. Some of the services they do are blood drives at the school, toy drives and visits to retirement homes.
